Specialist Clinics

INR (Warfarin)

We run a clinic in surgery for anyone registered with us who is taking or needs to start Warfarin. The clinic is run by the practice nurses and Dr Mann. We test blood using near patient fingerprick testing. We are also able to offer INR monitoring for housebound patients.

Diabetes

We are proud of the care we offer to our diabetic patients. We run a dedicated diabetic clinic on a Tuesday afternoon. We arrange comprehensive diabetic reviews including foot checks by a podiatrist. Dr Mann and Dr Fowler take the lead on diabetes care.

Diabetic patients are offered regular reviews, appointments are sent out by post.

Minor Surgery

We are able to offer some minor operations including cryotherapy for warts and verrucas and removal of minor skin lesions. Please see the doctor for assessment, the GP will then decide if your skin lesion is suitable for a minor procedure and will arrange an appointment for you.

Joint Injections

We offer injections for some joint problems (such as tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, knee effusions). If your GP thinks you would benefit from an injection they will arrange an appointment for you.

Acupuncture

Dr Wayman is trained in acupuncture and offers acupuncture for a number of conditions. If acupuncture is considered suitable for your condition your GP may suggest seeing him in an acupuncture session. Please note that the acupuncture appointments can only be booked by a GP after you have seen them and they and Dr Wayman have decided that acupuncture is the appropriate treatment for your condition.
