SUMMER 2008

Student Doctors
From August 2008 we will start to take student doctors from the University of Sheffield. We are likely to have one final year student attached to the practice every 2 months. They will sit in with one of the doctors and will occasionally see patients under close supervision by one of the GPs. If you would prefer a student were not present during your consultation, please inform reception when you check in for your appointment.

Private Travel Clinic
Our new private travel clinic opens on 3rd July. Appointments will be offered in the evenings both to register patients and those patients registered elsewhere who wish to take advantage of our specialised service. Late Evening Surgeries
We now offer late evening surgeries on a Thursday evening for those patients who find it difficult to come to see the doctor during working hours due to work commitments or who rely on a relative who works to bring them to their appointments.

Please be aware that these appointments are designed specifically for patients who are unable to attend surgery at usual times. If you are able to come during the working day please try to do so and try not to book into one of these appointments so they can be used by those patients who need them most.
