Flu Vaccinations

This year’s flu vaccine protects against 3 strains of influenza including (H1N1 "Swine flu"). Vaccination against flu is offered to people aged over 65 or those with chronic health problems such as lung, heart and kidney disease and diabetes. Again this year vaccination is also being offered to pregnant women.

As a surgery we are not offering to vaccinate healthy children against influenza and official guidance advises us not to do so. Should the position change we will of course keep you informed via our surgery website.
