GP TRAINEES

Blue Dykes is a training practice on the Chesterfield VTS. We usually have one or two registrars attached to the practice. They are fully qualified doctors undergoing a period of specialist training in order to be able to practice independently as General Practitioners.

Our current registrars are Dr Emma Cunliffe and  Dr B. Jones.

STUDENT DOCTORS

We often have student doctors from the University of Sheffield attached to the practice for a period of 7 weeks. The student is usually in the final year of Medical Training. They will sit in with one of the doctors and will occasionally see patients under close supervision by one of the GPs. If you would prefer a student were not present during your consultation, please inform reception when you check in for your appointment.
